ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run in north St. Louis County on Wednesday.

The crash happened around 5 p.m. near the intersection of North Hanley Road and Natural Bridge Road. MSHP said a pedestrian was struck and killed, and the driver left the scene.

The driver and the vehicle were later found, MSHP said.

The investigation is ongoing.
