Percy Jackson and The Olympians Season 2 official trailer

Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 has finally landed on Disney Plus as fans are introduced to a brand new adventure.

The first two episodes have premiered today (December 10), but fans must wait for a weekly release from now .

Based on the second book in Rick Riordan’s beloved best-selling series, the Sea of Monsters takes viewers on a journey into uncharted waters, with plenty of action along the way. And already, fans are wasting no time in catching up with the latest instalment.

At the end of episode two, a short, but sweet, tribute popped up before the end credits, paying homage to a "true pioneer".

It read: "In loving memory of a true pioneer Danny Virtue", with an image of a chariot.
