And it puts to bed any idea the Frenchman is some kind of happy clapper who doesn’t mind whether his side wins or loses. ‌

Nancy admitted after the game he was more concerned about performances than results but the message got jumbled up in the wash a tad. Some fans leapt on the line but the reality could not be further from the truth.
