Former India captains Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are most likely to see a change in their central contracts for the upcoming cycle when the BCCI will be announcing the list of its AGM on December 22. Both the players currently have the A+ Grade contracts and earn INR 7 crores per year, but now their contracts will be under review.

The Grade A+ category is reserved for cricketers who play all the three formats – Tests, T20Is and ODIs. But in Kohli and Rohit’s case they have already retired from two formats and only feature in ODIs which is the biggest reason that they might get demoted to A category. Now if this happens then they will have a pay cut of INR 2 crores as the A category gives their players INR 5 crores per year.
