New Delhi: Swiggy is transforming the on-demand economy of India using real-time information and AI-based operations. Since Indians order their meals in millions every day, biryani included, the platform has to operate on quickly fluctuating information in order to maintain the running of deliveries. Swiggy has 923 million orders in FY25, an increase of 22 per cent compared to the previous year, and now uses Microsoft Fabric to make operation decisions in a split-second operation, which used to take minutes before.
