New AM series models improve weight distribution and integrates advanced control technology

Hilltip has introduced extended-auger models of its AM series combination spreaders, designed for interchangeable truck bed systems. The new auger configuration allows the hopper to sit closer to the bulkhead to improve weight distribution. The spreaders feature polyethylene hoppers from 2.0 to 4.2 cubic yards, six-inch stainless-steel augers, and integral liquid tanks with optional pre-wetting and spray accessories. A retrofit kit is available for older models, and the units are compatible with Hilltip’s StrikeSmart Plus controller and HTrack tracking software for real-time monitoring and material application management.
