A tragic road accident in Rayagada district claimed the lives of two students on Thursday morning.

The deceased were identified as Debendra Sabar (21) of Soura Sahi, Gudari, and Bishnu Sabar of Badaguda near Dhepaguda, Gudari.

The incident occurred near Palupai in Ramanaguda block when the students were riding a bike to attend classes at Badisola School. Their bike collided head-on with a private bus travelling from Lanjiguda to Berhampur.
