Incident stopping trains between Birmingham and Wolverhampton

Disruption will mainly affect passengers commuting between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street on West Midlands Railway this morning.

Emergency services were called out to the incident this morning, with the line between the two cities being closed while they carry out work.

Passengers can expect trains to be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to an hour.

National Rail said emergency services were dealing with an incident on Thursday morning, with all lines closed while they carried out work.
