JAMMU, Dec 11: Police on Thursday arrested a man who had been absconding for nearly 10 years in a rash driving case in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district.
The accused, Jagraj Singh of Gurdaspur district in Punjab, was wanted in a case registered under Sections 279 (rash driving) and 337 (causing injuries) of the IPC at Hiranagar police station, officials said.
According to police, Singh had been evading arrest since 2015 before he was finally traced and taken into custody. (Agencies)
