BATTLE CREEK — Many area girls basketball teams have high expectations for the 2025-26 season, with experienced rosters to back those up.

The girls basketball season has tipped off this week. What follows will make for a full schedule on the court for area girls hoop fans to enjoy, with districts the week of March 2 and the state finals set for the Breslin Center on the campus of Michigan State University on March 21.
