The BAFTA-winning game show sees five famous faces compete in a series of bizarre challenges

A Taskmaster star has let slip the origins of the BAFTA-winning game show during an appearance on The Wheel in scenes set to air this weekend.

Alex Horne acts as the assistant to Greg Davies on the Channel 4 comedy series, with the duo guiding five celebrities through increasingly bizarre challenges. Among the tasks aired so far include asking the contestants to make a meal that looks like a flag, and filling an egg cup with their own tears.

However behind the scenes, comedian and musician Alex is actually the show's creator and he revealed where inspiration for it came from during a stint on BBC's The Wheel, which will air on Saturday night (December 13).
