The ruling restricts sweeping zoning modifications passed in 2024
PROVIDENCE – Rhode Island's land use judge struck down plans for a proposed 75-unit apartment building on Wickenden Street, and with it much of the power of local zoning officials to offer slight modifications to plans.
Superior Court Justice Jeffrey Lanphea r struck down a preliminary plan for a mixed-use building with 75 residential units, two commercial spaces and 12 internal parking spaces in a decision dated Dec. 2.
