SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - A system moving in from the northwest will bring most of Siouxland a chance of seeing ice or snow today. Northeastern Siouxland is expecting the most impacts and that’s where a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect.
THURSDAY - FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY
Snow, sleet and freezing rain are expected today. Northeast Nebraska will be the first to experience this wintry mix of precipitation and it will last through mid-morning.
The precipitation will begin in southeast South Dakota and northwest Iowa shortly after sunrise and linger into the evening in northeastern Siouxland.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for northeastern Siouxland until 6pm or 9pm. Ice accumulations of a glaze up to a tenth of an inch are possible along with snow totals of 1-3 inches with some isola
