LaSalle Township has several ideas for the former First Presbyterian Church of LaSalle .

The 168-year-old church at 13007 Dixie Highway closed Nov. 30. At its Nov. 17 regular board meeting, the LaSalle Township board voted 5-0 to purchase the church and its three acres of property. There's also an 8-by-8-foot garden shed on the property.
