The Saginaw area was flooded with talented freshman girls basketball players during the 2024-25 season, providing plenty of optimism for the future.
Those players are sophomores this season, and they join a strong group of older players to give Saginaw-area basketball fans plenty of quality basketball to watch for the 2025-26 season.

Charli Alcorn, Michigan Lutheran Seminary
Charlie Alcorn, a 5-foot-6 guard, enjoyed a strong freshman season for Michigan Lutheran Seminary, helping the Cardinals win a district title and post an 18-7 record. Alcorn averaged 11 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.6 steals and 2.6 assists.
