Tania Miller digs Christmas traditions.
The Brott Music Festival artistic director-conductor loves the lights, the carols, the family gatherings, the turkey dinners, and skiing with her husband and their two boys.
And another holiday tradition she never tires of is “Messiah.”
Good thing, because she’ll lead the National Academy Orchestra of Canada, Ron Beckett’s Arcady Singers, soprano Gabrielle Turgeon, mezzo Queen Hezumuryango, tenor Jeremy Scinocca and bass-baritone Luke Noftall in Handel’s evergreen oratorio on Thursday, Dec. 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Burlington Performing Arts Centre ( 440 Locust St. ).
