IndiGo has offered travel vouchers worth ₹10,000 to customers who were 'severely impacted' during the three-day meltdown between 3rd December and 5 December 2025. These vouchers will be valid for any IndiGo flight over the next 12 months. The airline clarified that the new ₹10,000 vouchers will be in addition to the compensation mandated under directorate general of civil aviation (DGCA) norms, which require airlines to pay between ₹5,000 and ₹10,000 to passengers whose flights are cancelled within 24 hours of departure. In a statement issued on X, the airline says it has initiated all required refunds for cancelled flights, with most amounts already credited and the remaining expected shortly.
