A cancer survivor who rang the bell shortly before Christmas in 2023 is now celebrating what is being called 'a medical miracle' during this holiday season. Frankie-Ella Lloyd, 19 years old and from Chelmsford, Essex, is anticipated to become a mother for the first time early next year. ‌

Frankie-Ella was only 15 when she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) , a type of blood cancer, in September 2021. Her diagnosis followed noticing swelling on the right side of her jaw and seeing 'purple, red, and black' spots on her legs. ‌

The teenager said she started chemotherapy the day after, describing the process as 'painful' and 'draining'. Yet, by December 2023, she was officially declared cancer-free and rang the hospital bell just days b
