(Bismarck, ND) — A man is behind bars after a woman said he ripped her off for over 160-thousand-dollars. According to court documents, the woman told Bismarck police that she had signed over a check to a David Coppock in October after she felt she could trust him. A case worker said the victim in this case suffered from mental health problems and is easily manipulated. Police found that Coppock had withdrawn almost 40-thousand-dollars before his account was frozen. He was arrested and charged with exploitation of an eligible adult, which could result in up to 20 years in prison.
