U.S. senators on Thursday will vote on two health care bills addressing the future of affordable care, but many believe neither proposal will pass.
Americans with health care under the Affordable Care Act can brace for more uncertainty in the three weeks remaining before tax credits expire.
Democrats want a three-year extension of the COVID-era tax credits used by tens of millions to lower health care costs. Republicans want to allow the subsidies to expire and instead put up to $1,500 into health savings accounts for qualifying Americans.
