A prayer meeting was organised by actor and politician Hema Malini for her late husband and legendary actor Dharmendra in New Delhi on Thursday. Several prominent figures from the entertainment and political spheres paid their last respects to the veteran actor at the event.

These included Home Minister Amit Shah, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and actor turned politician Kangana Ranaut. Esha Deol, along with her sister Ahana, also attended the prayer meeting.

In the photos from the prayer meeting, Hema can be seen addressing those present at the event with Esha solemnly standing by her side. Another photo shows Amit Shah paying floral tribute to Dharmendra.
