Taylor Swift had an icy four-word response to people who want her to quit making music.

During her Wednesday appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” Swift spoke about how the people she looks up to all have one thing in common: longevity.

“Career longevity, friendship longevity, longevity in their relationships — how do you keep a good thing going?” the singer explained after name-dropping Stevie Nicks as one of her inspirations and someone that she reaches out for advice.

“I think there are certain corners of our society that really love that and look up to longevity and there are also corners that are like ‘Give someone else a turn! Can’t you just go away so we can talk about how good you were ?’
