SALINA, Kan. (KAKE) - The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is now involved in a case surrounding the death of a north central Kansas 7-year-old boy over the summer.
Salina police say the baby, who has yet to be identified, died in late July, but have not released the manner of his death.
Lt. Andrew Zeigler confirmed Thursday that the department is working with the KBI. In an email to KAKE, he says, "the case is still under investigation, and if any charges are to be filed that will be handled by the AG's (Attorney General's) office."
In October , Zeigler said, "All parties in the investigation have been identified and there has been no arrests made in the case."
