After two years of disappointing early postseason exits without even one win to show for it, the 2025 season was supposed to be one in which the Orioles made their way back to the playoffs and finally advanced. It never worked out that way. All manner of things went wrong with the team over the course of the season and they fell to last place in the division, 12 games short of a postseason.
