Lake-effect snow is expected to continue in northwest Michigan and the eastern Upper Peninsula Thursday, Dec. 11, but should be relatively light.

" Ongoing lake effect snow showers will continue through this afternoon (Dec. 11) for parts of northwest lower and eastern upper, bringing an additional 1-2” (inches) or more to these areas.
