LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg and city officials provided an update on the UPS plane crash cleanup Thursday.

A UPS plane taking off from Louisville and headed to Honolulu crashed on Nov. 4, killing 14 people. | Read more on the crash here.

The crash also caused damage to surrounding businesses in the area of Grade Lane. Officials said in November cleanup at the crash site was ahead of schedule.

Greenberg was joined by Louisville Metro Emergency Services executive director Jody Meiman and MSD officials to provided an update on the cleanup.

As of Nov. 25, businesses near Don Hutson Boulevard are back open and businesses west of Grade Lane had gas and electric service restored.

Businesses along Melton, Knopp, and Able avenues, which are closer to the crash scene,
