Authorities in Indiana are investigating an incident involving a DoorDash driver who was allegedly caught on video spraying an "irritant substance" on a food delivery . The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office reported that the incident occurred last weekend and was captured by the customer's doorbell camera.
The customer, Mark Cardin , told NBC News that his wife began choking and vomiting after taking a bite of the meal. Cardin noticed a red substance on the delivery bag and checked the video footage, which showed a female driver placing the bag at their door and then appearing to spray something on it .
