WARREN - A Liberty Township man pled guilty to lesser charges in a teen sex case.

Originally charged with two counts each of rape and gross sexual imposition, 21-year-old Isaiah Short pled guilty to two reduced counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, a first-degree misdemeanor.

The charges were filed after Short engaged in sexual conduct with a 16-year-old girl in November of 2024. Short was 20 years old at the time of the incident.

Trumbull County Assistant Prosecutor Gabe Wildman previously told 21 News that the victim was intellectually disabled.

No sentencing date has been set for Short at this time.
