BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — A Fall River woman was sentenced Wednesday for an August sex trafficking conspiracy conviction.

43-year-old Cory Primo will serve 70 months in prison with five years of supervised release, according to the Massachusetts U.S. Attorney’s Office.

She pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking.

Primo admitted to conspiring with others to traffic an adult woman from Massachusetts along with two minor children in 2023, according to the U.S. Attorney.

Primo said that she initially assisted her co-defendant in selling the victims because she was “broke.”

The defendant communicated with buyers in the conspiracy, sending them photographs of the victims, negotiating prices and scheduling commercial sex acts.
