Florida law enforcement officers were met with another monster reptile this week — this time at a popular convenience store.

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office had another unusual encounter with a massive alligator on December 9, 2025, making this the second encounter in two weeks.

The sheriff's office noted on their Facebook page that it seems like Sarasota County, on the state’s west coast, wants to make an alligator encounter a weekly occurrence.

"Another day, another gator — Sarasota's really determined to make this a weekly series.," reads t he post .
