BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A third person is facing charges after a deadly shooting at a nightclub over the summer in Baton Rouge.

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, officers arrested Derrick Scott, 24, for his involvement in the shooting, which happened on June 22, in the 2500 block of Choctaw Drive.

He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on six counts of attempted first-degree murder, illegal use of a weapon, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Police said Prenesha Wagner, 24, was fatally shot during an exchange of gunfire between a group of people.
