In recent weeks, New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has emerged as one of the NFL’s top MVP candidates. He isn’t the only person in town making a push for an end-of-the-season award, though.
Through 13 games this season, Maye has thrown for 3,412 yards and 23 touchdowns, helping New England coast to an 11-2 record. And while Maye has to go out and deliver the goods under center, he isn’t the only person responsible for the team’s success.
In his first year as the team’s head coach, Mike Vrabel has played a major role in the Pats’ stunning turnaround as well. So while Maye continues hearing his name in the MVP conversation, he believes that Vrabel should be the frontrunner to win the Coach of the Year Award this season.
