A Menorah Lighting and Hanukkah Celebration will take place at 5-6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, at Peters Park outside the Loveland Museum, 503 N. Lincoln Ave.

Loveland dignitaries and community will come together to celebrate the Festival of Lights, light the giant menorah and enjoy Jewish holiday music and traditional Hanukkah foods.

Other menorah lightings in Northern Colorado will be at 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, at the Lory Student Center Plaza at CSU; 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at Estes Park’s Municipal Building, 170 MacGregor Ave.; 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, at the Ninth Street Plaza at Ninth Street and Ninth Avenue in Greeley; and 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, at Old Town Square in downtown Fort Collins.

The events are free and all are welcome.
