WASHINGTON — Move aside Superman, it's your cousin's time to shine on the big screen.
The first teaser trailer for "Supergirl" debuted on Thursday.
The movie, which is the second film in the official restart of the Warner Bros. and DC Studios universe , hits theaters on June 26, 2026.
"Supergirl" stars Milly Alcock in the dual role of Supergirl/Kara Zor-El. Those who saw 2025's "Superman" got their first glimpse of Supergirl at the end of the film , when she met up with her cousin at the Fortress of Solitude.
According to the plot summary, "When an unexpected and ruthless adversary strikes too close to home, Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion on an epic, interstellar journey of vengeance and justice."
