LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The string of All-America awards continues for the Concordia University Football program.
On Thursday, the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) named Bulldog senior nose guard Carson Fehlhafer an NAIA First Team All-American. Concordia has placed at least one player on the AFCA’s All-America honor roll for the 11th straight season. Fehlhafer is a first time All-American.
The first team award is a sign of the respect earned by Fehlhafer, who missed the season’s final four games after suffering an injury. Fehlhafer ranked amongst the national leaders in tackles for loss and sacks (and led the GPAC in both categories) at the time the injury occurred.
