1FAIR LAWN, NJ – After weeks of package thefts across town, police in Fair Lawn have arrested two suspects accused of stealing deliveries from porches during the busy holiday season.

Officers identified the pair as 35-year-old Perla M. Abreu-Zorrilla of Clifton and 24-year-old Yamel De Los Santos De Leon of Passaic.

Both were taken into custody Tuesday afternoon after police tracked their vehicle through neighborhood surveillance footage.

Dozens of packages recovered

Investigators said homeowners’ Ring camera videos helped them identify a 2024 Honda CRV seen at multiple theft locations. Police located the vehicle around 4:30 p.m. on December 9 and found it packed with stolen parcels.
