NORTH PORT, Fla. ( WWSB ) - The North Port City Commission has called a special meeting after a complaint regarding the City Manager was submitted to Human Resources on Dec. 8.

The City Attorney notified the North Port City Commission about the complaint in accordance with Resolution 2019-R-07 and recommended that the City Manager be placed on paid administrative leave during the investigation.

During the special meeting, commissioners are scheduled to discuss whether to allow the City Manager to continue working during the investigation, place the City Manager on paid administrative leave, or place the City Manager on unpaid administrative leave.
