UPDATE : December 11 at 10:43 a.m.

US Highway 12 just outside of Naches was washed out over Wednesday night, and all traffic is being detoured on Bonlow Drive.

The Naches Fire Department reports the city closed the Greenway Pathway and preemptively shut off power to lighting in the area to preserve infrastructure.

UPDATE : December 10 at 10:30 p.m.

SR 20 is now closed in both directions 12 miles west of Winthrop.

Water and debris have covered the roadway, according to a recent update.

Local roads are available for detours, but there is no estimated time for when SR 20 will reopen.
