BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – Florida is officially suing online gaming platform Roblox.

Attorney General James Uthmeier filed a lawsuit Thursday in state court under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act and Florida’s protection of children in online spaces law.

Uthmeier accuses Roblox of knowingly facilitating a virtual environment that makes it easy for sexual predators to prey on, groom, and abuse children, while marketing the platform in Florida to children as a fun and safe place to play and interact.
