Auburn football is set to face Troy in 2031, marking the first-ever matchup between the two programs, the Trojans announced on Thursday.
The game is set for Saturday, September 6, at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
After scheduling North Alabama for a non-conference matchup for the 2028 season, the matchup with the Trojans ensures that Auburn will have faced every Division-I squad in the state of Alabama.
This is a marquee game that I know will excite our fan base,” Troy athletic director Kyle George said, per Troy Athletics Communications . “This is a great in-state matchup that our fans will travel exceptionally well to, and that will spark great interest from both fan bases. Thank you to Auburn Director of Athletics John Cohen and his staff for working with us to make this game a reality.”
