Bel Air High School boys head soccer coach Sergio Delgado was given a three-year suspension, three years probation, and a public reprimand by the State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League.

Delgado appeared before the committee Thursday, Dec. 11, regarding the violation, according to a UIL news release.

Delgado committed a Category B violation under the UIL handbook, according to the news release.

El Paso Times has requested details of the violation from the UIL and is awaiting a response.

Code B violations in the UIL handbook are defined as:

(1) failing to comply with the Athletic Code, Athletic Code for Coaches, Music Code, Academic Code or One-Act Play Code.
