YPSILANTI, MI — Brendan Kelly, president of the University of Arkansas system since 2024, received a warm homecoming celebration Wednesday at Eastern Michigan University.

Over 100 students, faculty and community members stood up and applauded Kelly’s selection as the next EMU president at a special Board of Regents meeting on Dec. 10.
