PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - A couple charged with child abuse now have a trial date.

Mary Hall and Jerome Norman appeared for a pretrial conference in Pike County on Dec. 10.

Hall was arrested after reports said a child in her care “showed signs of torture.”

Norman was taken into custody and charged with kidnapping and criminal abuse, among others.

The couple were arrested in January.

The trial date was scheduled for April 6. A pretrial hearing was set for April 1.
