ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol is asking for tips related to a pair of deadly Orangeburg County crashes.
SCHP said the first crash happened on Feb. 5, 2020, when a pedestrian was hit on Coach Road near Dawson Street. The car involved, believed to be either a 1997-2003 white Ford F-150 or a white 1997-2002 Ford Expedition, left the scene.
Troopers said the vehicle also reportedly had damage to the passenger front or side mirror.
SCHP provided photos of similar-looking vehicles, but noted that neither was the one involved in the crash.
The second crash happened May 24, 2022, on Columbia Road/U.S. 21 near Burke Road, outside Orangburg. Troopers said a car hit someone on a bicycle and continued north on Columbia Road. The bicyclist died as a result of the
