A Premier League footballer has been spotted in a North East shopping centre ahead of the Tyne-Wear derby this weekend.
As Sunderland prepare to take on Newcastle on Sunday (December 14) at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland midfielder Chris Rigg was spotted at the Metrocentre in Gateshead on Tuesday (December 9).
The footballer was seen holding several bags from Badge clothing as he was pictured outside the North East-based shop.

Badge, which opened to shoppers last month, is located in the Upper Platinum Mall, taking over the vacant unit next to the Regis salon.
Badge stocks Stone Island, the Italian designer label that has become well-known on football terraces and a staple of matchday style, alongside other brands.
