Fort Wayne Football Club’s first season in professional soccer began to take shape Thursday. After playing on the road for the first eight weeks of the 2026 USL League One season, the club will open Fort Wayne FC Park on Saturday, May 2 against the Charlotte Independence. This match will serve as the first event hosted by Fort Wayne FC Park, which will open with a capacity of over 9,000.

The club also learned two of its opponents during its season-opening road trip. Fort Wayne will open its first season in USL League One on March 7 at FC Naples, and will also play in the home opener for Chattanooga Red Wolves SC on April 11.
