Ramban, Dec 11: In a major boost to road connectivity in the remote areas of Ramban district, the construction of a 45-metre double-lane steel superstructure bridge over the Chapra nullah in Sangaldan along the Ramban-Gool road by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) is nearing completion.
Executed by 52 RCC and 760 BRTF under the General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF), the project, constructed at a cost of Rs 9 Cr including a one-kilometre approach road, aims to resolve the long-standing issue of frequent road blockades caused by flash floods in the Chapra nullah.
