Christian McCaffrey has a chance to make NFL history this season, and Trent Williams would love nothing more than to help him get there.
The 49ers’ All-Pro left tackle pointed to how significant it would be to help McCaffrey chase another rare 1,000-1,000 season -- 1,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards in the same campaign. Only three players in league history have ever achieved the feat: Roger Craig in 1985, Marshall Faulk in 1999 and McCaffrey himself in 2019. The 29-year-old running back is on pace to become the first player ever to do it twice.
