FORSYTH, Ga. — Officials are working to resolve a water main leak in Forsyth , according to a post from the city's Facebook account.
The city says that certain areas will be under a boil water advisory while the water main is being repaired. Those areas are Hubbard Elementary School, Old Brent Road, Moreland Road, Marshall Road, Annie Reeves Road and the areas south of Annie Reeves Road.
The water leak could cause your water to become contaminated due to the leak, the city says.
The CDC recommends using boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking, cooking, and preparing food during a boil water advisory.
They also say you should use boiled water for brushing your teeth, preparing baby formula, making ice, and preparing drinking water for pets.
