Rosethorne Youth Basketball League players met with New Orleans Pelicans representatives and government officials at Rosethorne Playground in Jean Lafitte to celebrate the official opening of the refurbished courts. The new courts were part of HoopLA 2025, the charity basketball game with the Pelicans between the Louisiana House and Senate. The basketball, tennis and pickleballs courts were built to build community connections.
